New! Fall and Spring Coaching Opportunities for Business Leaders

Coaching is an important part of leadership. Through connecting business leaders and student teams, the Allegacy Center for Leadership and Character provides students the opportunity both to be coached by business professionals and to gain understanding on how to coach others by experiencing effective coaching sessions.

The Wake Forest School of Business community business leader coaching program brings together industry professionals and student teams in a unique coaching experience. Based on the debrief of results from the proprietary 360 Team Member Assessment (TMA), our academic programs use the assessment and follow up coaching to provide students input on individual performance in a team setting.

Through a process of facilitating and supporting team level reflection, coaches assist student teams in the creation of a development plan on the TMA feedback process that aids in the professional development of the students. As well, the experience provides business leader coaches the opportunity to develop team coaching skills, enhance training for mid-level leaders, and identify possible candidates for hiring.

The investment of time includes three hours to complete the formal team performance coaching training and then serving one or twice a semester as a team performance coach for a one hour session. Coaches also have the opportunity to engage in ongoing mentoring relationships with student teams.

The Allegacy Center for Leadership and Character is currently accepting new coaches for upcoming fall and spring coaching opportunities.
