Saturday, April 6, 2019, in Farrell Hall, Dr. Patrick Sweeney, Professor of the Practice of Management and Executive Director, Allegacy Center for Leadership and Character, will deliver a session on “Developing a Leadership Philosophy” during the School of Business inaugural Alumni Weekend.
During the session, Dr. Sweeney will lead alumni through a deep-dive process of discovery into reflecting on personal values, priorities, and approach to decision-making to define what leaders expect from themselves and from others.
Through creating a personal leadership philosophy, leaders are prepared for leadership transitions and opportunities. Through communicating the leadership philosophy to others, the leader in transition puts intentions into action for individual and organizational success.
