During the month of October, the ACLC led a donation drive to benefit The Vantage Pointe Children’s Advocacy Center in Forsyth County. The TVPCAC provides a child-friendly, safe location for child victims and their families to receive services that will facilitate their overall healing and result in a more collaborative approach to the investigation of their cases. They see approximately 200 children between the ages of 3 and 17 annually. In addition to monetary donations, cleaning supplies for the center, stuffed animals, bracelets and snacks for the families and children who visit the center were collected. On November 7, the ACLC hosted a Gratitude and Giving reflection to present the School of Business donations to Fulton McSwain, Program Manager and Johnny Johnson, Manager of Development Communications and Public Relations.
“I just wanted to thank you and the rest of the Wake Forest School of Business for your donations. This picture is just a small representation of all of your donations. We did not have a table big enough to show anything remotely close to all of the items that were collected. You all are amazing. My only wish is that you all could see the smiles on the children’s faces when we give them their gifts. Again, I am so grateful for everything that you all have done .” ~ Fulton McSwain, Program Manager
