CLC sponsors two WFU students to attend the US Naval Academy’s Leadership Conference

The Allegacy Center for Leadership and Character in the School of Business is pleased to sponsor two Wake Forest Undergraduate Students to attend the United States Naval Academy’s Leadership Conference from January 26-29, 2014 in Annapolis, MD.

The USNA Leadership Conference includes more than 200 participants from over 45 military and civilian colleges. The Conference theme will be Followership: The Evolution of a Leader.

The students representing Wake Forest and the Center for Leadership and Character are: Alexa Ciesinski and John Miller. Alexa is a Junior biology major and John is a Senior majoring in finance.

Students were selected based on their submission of expressed demonstration of conceptual and/or practical knowledge about leadership; a passion regarding leadership and learning more about the subject; strong values, and the courage to exchange and defend ideas in a public forum of peer and senior leaders.
