Enabling Medical Leaders Through Mentoring

Research conducted by Pat Sweeney, Professor of the Practice of Management and Executive Director of the Allegacy Center for Leadership and Character, has been published in the journal, Clinics in Sports Medicine. His research titled “Enabling Medical Leaders Through Mentoring,” assists in training both mentors and mentees when developing mentoring programs within an organization. The time invested in mentoring relationships enhances patient care, creates positive work environments, improves individual and organizational performance, and creates a brighter future for the medical profession. The article is co-authored by Joe LeBoeuf (Duke University).
