Five Students to Attend Service Academy Leadership Conferences

Since 2013 the Allegacy Center for Leadership and Character (ACLC) has been proud to sponsor five undergraduate business school students each year to attend leadership conferences at our country’s service academies.

The conferences—which will take place early next year at the U.S. Naval Academy in Maryland, the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado, and the U.S. Military Academy at West Point in New York—include panel discussions, speakers, and breakout sessions that focus on developing leadership skills and critical thinking while navigating global challenges.

Selected students were nominated by their professors and are said to possess a passion for leadership, strong values, and the courage to exchange and defend ideas in a public forum with peers and senior leaders. By attending, these students will serve as ambassadors for the WFU School of Business.
