For the 2018 Principled Leadership Symposium conference at The Citadel in Charleston, South Carolina, Wake Forest Business and Enterprise Management Students, Elena Cage and Garret Bader shared insights.
Elena Cage ’19 shared ideas about diversity including how diversity is important in the area of diversity of thought as well as in the area of diversity of background, race, gender, ethnicity, etc. Without diversity of thought, an organization will not be properly challenged and will have more trouble moving forward in all areas of business.
Garret Bader, ’19 emphasize how important it is in business to “do it right the first time.” This includes working within the system and through the system to accomplish tasks and goals. With an environment high in personal and organizational discipline, the best thing is to use those who are operating within the same system to help support and advance your goals.
