Senior Alex Dicke Attends US Air Force Academy National Character and Leadership Symposium

A senior Business and Enterprise Management major, Alex Dicke proudly represented Wake Forest School of Business at the US Air Force Academy National Character and Leadership Symposium. There he heard impactful speeches and discussions on grit and leadership.

“A common theme throughout the conference was perseverance, humility, integrity, and leading with character.  It reinforced what I have learned in the School of Business at Wake Forest and aligns with the Calloway Leadership Experience,” recalls Alex.

A valuable takeaway for Alex was that outstanding leadership is fundamentally about how one frames their thoughts.  Thoughts become actions, and actions turn into behaviors, behaviors to habits, and as one attribute leads to the next, you evolve as a leader.

Alex was nominated by his professor, Dr. Rick Harris.
